Remember that play starring Anthony Newley? How many of you would like the World to stop so you could get off?
What a World we are living in, wars wars wars, all over the place humans killing humans.
Whatever happened to diplomacy ?, does it still exist did it ever? Or is it with today’s means of communication the reality of life is brought to our attention at a much faster pace.
Today we have Muslims killing Jews, Christians, and anybody else who does not believe as they do, I thought we all believed in the same God, evidently it all depends on what Bible you choose to read, and of course who wrote it.
The politicians of the World are nothing more than servants to big business, whoever offers the biggest amount of gold, or oil pretty much dictates as to what direction the World is going to go.
This is the year 2012, election year through many parts of the World, who’s going to win? Why the winner will be and has always been the man or woman with the most money of course.
Where does all this money come from? Big business, it’s called super pac money, and big business controls just who gets these funds.
The white house is just another product on the market, if you have enough money the office is yours.
At this time in our not so glories history, do you really think we have a choice in who we elect for President of the United States, even the candidates are pre chosen for us.
Just look at who we have to choose from in the upcoming election, Gringrich, Santorum, Romney, and the current president Obama, all under the control of big business, Okay so I left out Dr. Ron Paul.
Personally Dr. Paul would probably be the best of the lot, why isn’t he on top of the dung heap, Very simple he doesn’t have the big money behind him, that simple.
For example how much money did Romney spend in the last two weeks of the Ohio primary, and remember this was for one State and only a primary, $12 million.
So far Romney has spent more than $63 million and this is just the beginning of the primary season. By the way who do you think won the Ohio primary, surprise surprise, Romney.
So far it looks as if Romney is going to buy the opportunity to challenge Obama for a run for the presidency, Does he have a chance? I don’t think so, just take a look at Obamas cash on hand, as it stand right now he has $151 million and he hasn’t even started to raise money yet.
By the time Obama is finished he will have no less than $500 million, that kind of money is awful hard to beat.
For a good example of just what big business money can do take a look at the last election, Mc Cain spent $167 million, Obama spent over $400 million, who won?
What can we do, well folks short of an all out revolution we can do absolutely nothing. Big business has all the senate as well as the congress under its control. Hence all the laws being passed are for their benefit and there is nothing we can do about it.
So, for me, “its stop the World I want off”.
