British author James Hilton. Hilton describes Shangri-La as a mystical, harmonious valley, gently guided from a lamasery, enclosed in the western end of the Kunlun Mountains. Shangri-La has become synonymous with any earthly paradise but particularly a mythical Himalayan utopia — a permanently happy land, isolated from the outside world. In the novel Lost Horizon, the people who live at Shangri-La are almost immortal, living years beyond the normal lifespan and only very slowly aging in appearance.
Okay where the hell is it today, I want to move there.
I've had enough of all the political bullshit, the greed,  selflessness, and corruption imposed on us by the egotistical assholes we elect to public office, who supposedly work for us.  Believe me there is not one politician in the World who works for us. upon there election, in Washington  or for that matter any State or city where we have elections, once they hold political office their primary goal is to use there power to gain more power, politically as well as financially.
Why or how do we get such deadbeats running for political office?
In the world today the guy with the most money, or who gains the support of big business  wins in the political arena, that is a fact.
Take a look at whats going on in the United States today, you got Rick Santorum, Ron Paul, Newt Ginrich, and Mitt Romeny,, who has the most money, Mitt Romney, who will be the Republican nominee? Surprise surprise Mitt Romney, will he beat the Democratic candidate Obama, not a chance, Obama has the full support of big business.
Come on folks wake up to reality, who in their right mind would spend 600 to 700 million dollars to win a job that pays 500 thousand per year. Where do they get this kind of money? Well a small part comes from your donations, but the largest part comes from the so called Pac fund, where does the Pac fund get there money, why from big business. as well as donations made from big business leaders at fundraisers held by the politicians themselves.
What is really creepy is that these big business leaders contribute to all party's, so Folks they are covered on all ends, do you really think they care who wins? They own whoever gets elected .
Lets get out of politics for a moment and take a look at whats going on in the World today. Wars and more Wars, Isreal wants to blow the hell out of Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan wants the U.S. out of their country's, and might add with good reason, what are we ever doing there in the first place?
Mexico has the worst war of all, there are more people killed in Mexico than in Iraq, Afghanistan and, Syria, and all the other countries involved in there so called struggle for independence combined.
The State department has issued warnings to not travel into Mexico, so where does the President of the United States send his daughter for spring break, why Mexico of course, with an entourage of 27 secret service guards, that spring break cost the taxpayers a pretty penny. Obama could care less, he'll just borrow more money from China.
Why do they have such a horrible war in Mexico?  Quit simple really, to control the drug money, and I mean big drug money.
As it stands now the Zetas are fighting Chapo Guzman, and a few other smaller cartels, who the hell is Chapo Guzman according to Forbes magazine is one of the Worlds richest men.
How did this guy get so rich? why from the the drug market in the United States of course. We Americans just love our drugs, and Chapo Guzman is just selling his products like any business leader would do.
The bottom line is this we the citizens of the United States are responsible for this horrible war, we support it with our insatiable appetite for drugs. You want the war to end? easy just stop using your freeking drugs, I dont care what your product is, when the market drys up, your out of business.
Now we have another mini war about to start in the U.S., blacks versus whites. Some white guy killed a black young man, says it was self defense, I don't have all the facts yet, but some information I've gotten off the web is that this young man is not exactly one you would want dating your 16 year old daughter, He's been expelled from school 3 times for drugs as well as other mischief, regardless the black leaders of our country want this victim martyred they have joined together, Guys like Jesse Jackson, and worse Al Sharpton are calling out for retribution, and they want blood.
Where the hell are these so called leaders when blacks are killing blacks, that's right folks there are substansly more blacks killed by blacks something like 87% of all black people murdered are done so by fellow blacks.
Where the hell is my Shangri-la, Where in the World can we go to live in peace and tranquility, No more commercials selling us shit that doesn't do what we pay for it to do, No more politicians telling us just how much they want to serve our every needs, want more welfare? you got it just vote for me, want free medical care, why just vote for me, better schools, free day care, a 6 hour work day, and only 4 days per week, just vote for me and you got it.
What nobody seems to care about is just where does all the money for these programs come from.
Ron Paul is the only Republican candidate telling us just where we are and what must be done to get us back on the right track, the problem is most people dont want to face there responsibility's to get us back on the right track, so to put it quite bluntly, Ron Paul doesn't stand a chance, instead we will listen to all the lies and bullshit from the other candidates and they will get your vote. Proves a point  "the truth hurts ", will like it or not the U.S. is hurting and it's going to get a lot worse.
Wake up America, the free lunch is over, we are broke, we owe China and a few other countries over 17 trillion dollars, that is not exactly what one could call pocket change.
If you ran your life or business the way the politicians of the United States ran our government we would all be in jail, we probably would never see sun light for the rest of our lives, and might add that's exactly where our politicians should spend the rest of their lives.
In the meantime I'm still looking for my Shangri-la.
